Chess in Cathedral Square
Particularly in the summer months, Cathedral Square brings together people from all over the world. One of the ways people get to meet each other is through the playing of a game of chess. You can take part regardless of your age and the language you speak - its a great ice breaker!
I am a forty something IT professional. I work for a health consultancy providing capacity planning and patient flow services to hospitals across the world.
I am married to Yvonne, a teacher of Business Studies and Economics and have two great children, Jake and Kirsty.
We emigrated to Christchurch, New Zealand from a village Holme-on-Spalding Moor in the East Riding of Yorkshire in the United Kingdom in June 2006.
