One of the many charming things about Christchurch is the River Avon which meanders its way through the city centre. There are some enchanting views from the parks and walkways that run along its side. Tourists can explore the delights of the river by hiring a punt complete with Edwardian punter.
The river is teaming with fish and other wildlife too - it's a little gem!
